Sorry for not posting for a few days (here that is, We Heart Vintage has been as busy as ever!) – it’s the Easter school holidays and I’m struggling for time a bit this week.  So for everyone who’s emails are going unanswered sorry sorry sorry, I’ll definitely get back to you next week at the latest!!!

Hubert de Givenchy’s fashions which were shown in Paris in February 1952. The model above left is Jeannie Patchett but I’m not sure about the others – anyone know? I particularly like the strange triple-bow necktie contraption and huge Spanish-style ruffled sleeves!
